I’m so Hurt
Yesterday was a tough day. Probably one of the toughest in a long time. Nothing happened to me personally, but it was reported Ben Simmons was out for the season. Now I have to finally admit that my sixers struggling this year.
Ben Simmons was one of the league's best perimeter defenders. At 6’ 10” he was always best at being able to stop the offensive threat and would’ve have been perfect for tonight’s game, against Dame Lillard.
Despite the loss of an absolute monster on the court the sixers still have a chance. This might be the degenerate gambler in me but I’m so f**king addicted to this sixers team. I have been obsessed since 2016 when they drafted Ben Simmons who I think will be one of the biggest superstars.
Tonight’s bet is sixers + 2.5 and you know what I know I have a problem, but I don’t care I’m going to say they pull this on out of their ass and get it done. I love Joel and ben together but if I’m going, to be honest, they can’t be on the floor at the same time. Brett Brown’s got to get his head out of his ass and make this sh*t work.
I thought last year’s team was it they had the grit and the talent but no leader. This is Joel’s moment. He’s got Tobias Harris the young defender Matisse Thybulle and Josh Richardson who is going to have to step up real big tonight against dame.
Considering last night’s antics with PG and Dame, he’s probably going to drop an absolutely absurd amount of points tonight, but I don’t care I have an endless amount of hope for this Sixers team.
Bet: Sixers + 2. I love the sixers and I don’t care what anyone says. If they lose well, I’ll continue to mourn the loss of Simmons and my bank account. Go Sixers
As Always Until Next Time.
